A by-product that arises during the execution of systematic, disciplined and practiced hand movements becomes the main product. The focus shifts away from the most correct execution possible, toward what is created during the execution of tasks. “Nichtmontag” deals with casualness and its output — the presence of one’s own thoughts during supposedly “systematic” processes, and what can be drawn from them. The work acts as a negative of a print magazine that was created during the production of a print magazine, made alongside paid work.
